A whee bit of history

I studied at the University of Gloucestershire, based in Cheltenham, and after 3 years of hardwork, the very highs and ridiculous lows of student life and weekends behind the bar at Starbucks, I left with a BA Honours in Graphic Design.

My first design job was at ArthurSteenHorneAdamson based in Cheltenham, where I worked as a designer for 3 years on projects including packaging for Tetley Tea, editorial work for the World Wildlife Foundation and other award winning branding designs.

In August of 2013 I moved my career to Bristol where I am currently working as a Senior Designer and Social Media Manager at Home, another award winning agency who specialise in Internal Comms and Employee Experience. It really does feel like home, I've never met such an amazing, talented group of people, and our Wednesday lunches are legendary.

Working at Home is how I spend my days, but by night I may be found headphones on, drawing away in my sketch book, or curving letters 'til my hearts content.

Originally from the Black Country in the West Midlands, home to The Peaky Blinders and The Black Country Museum, you'll often hear a midlands twang in my voice, and some odd Dudley vocabulary thrown in for good measure.

Let’s do this!

If you have a project that we can work on together, click on the button below and let’s get talking.

I have a passion for hand lettering, sure, but I love all aspects of branding and design. There tends to be a theme in my work of getting kick ass women and their businesses off the ground with an identity, whatever industry it is that they work in. If this sounds like something you’re after, then hurry up and get in touch!

I also have a love, well slight obsession, with all things social media. So if you want to get your channels working just as hard as you, slide in to my DMs (or just get in touch)…

Whether it’s a print commission, a new brand, or logo or anything else you have in mind, I can’t wait to hear from you.
